Description

No 10 High Street is a shop and house dating from around 1800. It is constructed from Doulting ashlar and features a slate roof with a moulded eaves cornice. The building has a classical facade, rising three storeys and comprising three bays. The upper floors have sash windows with glazing bars set in moulded stone architraves, flanked by end pilasters. The ground floor has a mutilated late 19th-century shopfront, which includes a panelled pilaster and a five-bay wing on the left return, displaying irregular fenestration.
