Description

No. 18 High Street is a shop built around 1800, constructed from Doulting ashlar with a slate roof. It features a classical facade and stands three storeys tall with two bays. The upper floors have sash windows with glazing bars. The ground floor has a late 19th-century shop front consisting of three lights, with a door set in a recess to the left. There are narrow panelled pilasters on each side, and brackets that support a fascia board with a narrow moulded cornice above. Panelled pilasters flank the shop front, and there is a plain band above the first floor windows, along with a moulded eaves cornice topped by a parapet with coping.
