Description

The Slade monument is a chest tomb located in the churchyard about 4 metres south of the south choir chapel of the Church of All Saints. It dates from the 17th century and is made of Ham stone. The tomb features a moulded plinth and has one fielded panel on each side, flanked by reeded pilasters. There is no frieze, and it has a moulded hipped top with rounded leading edges. The monument commemorates George Slade, who died in 1746, along with others.
