Description

The gate piers and forecourt wall at Woodlands Farmhouse date from the 17th century and are constructed from dressed Ham stone and coursed squared lias. The lias wall is approximately one metre high and features a cambered and featheredge Ham stone coping. The gateway includes square Ham stone piers that have moulded caps and ball finials set on plinths. There is a simple 19th-century wrought-iron gate with spear capping. Additionally, there is a three-stage mounting block located at the roadside.
