Description
Badbury House is a 17th-century house constructed from coursed and squared rubble, topped with a thatched roof featuring a coped verge on the left and three capped brick ridge stacks. The building has a through-passage plan and stands two storeys high, with four bays on the ground floor. It showcases 2-light ovolo-moulded stone-mullioned windows arranged in sets of three and two, all under continuous stopped labels and transoms, with three of the windows fitted with iron casements. The first floor has 3-light casements in a 19th-century style. The door opening is framed in a heavy peak-headed design and features a ribbed door. Inside, the house contains notable features such as fireplaces, ceiling beams, and a bread oven.
