Description

Lower Woodlands Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the 16th and 17th centuries, with alterations in the 20th century. It is constructed of coursed and squared lias stone, with a double-Roman tiled roof and three brick ridge stacks. The farmhouse is two storeys high and has four bays. It features 3- and 4-light casements in a 19th-century style. A roughly central doorway leads to a through passage, featuring a moulded wooden four-centred arch frame stopped to its base, and a ribbed and studded plank door with iron strap hinges. The interior contains features of interest, including two stud and panel screens and ceiling leads.
