Description
The gate piers and walls of the front garden at Woodhouse Farmhouse date from the 18th century. They are constructed of English garden wall bond brick with ashlar coping. The wall is L-shaped and features two square gate piers positioned directly opposite the front door of the house. The wall stands approximately 3 feet high and has plain ashlar coping. The coping ramps down on either side of the gate piers, which are topped with cyma-moulded ashlar caps that have large stone balls as finials.
