Description
The gatepiers and garden walls at Park Hall Farmhouse date from the 18th century and have undergone later repairs and alterations. They are constructed from ashlar sandstone and red brick. The structure features a pair of tall rusticated gatepiers, each with moulded cornices and bases, topped by large ball finials. Inside each pier, there is a pilaster strip with a scrolled top for attaching the gates, which are from the 20th century. On either side of the gatepiers, there are red brick garden walls with double chamfered stone copings. These walls encircle the house and garden, with the low walls at the front of the house and higher, ramped walls around the garden at the rear, following the slope of the land.
