Description

The wall linking Maperton House and the stable block was likely built in 1876. It is made of ham stone ashlar and has a semi-circular shape, standing approximately 3 metres high. The top features a 17th-century style open arched balustrade. This wall connects the north-west corner of Maperton House with the stables and significantly enhances the setting of both buildings.
