Description

Home Farm House is a farmhouse from the 18th century, built from local Cary stone that is cut and squared, featuring brick arches and panels around the windows. The roof is covered with double Roman clay tiles and has a stepped coped gable on the south side, along with stone chimney stacks, one of which is finished in brick. The building has a 'T' plan and stands two storeys high with attics, comprising four bays, with the fourth bay projecting forward.

On the upper level, bays one to three have three-light leaded casement windows with iron-framed opening lights set in deep reveals, topped with red brick segmental arches and panels. The fourth bay features a three-light leaded casement window beneath a timber lintel, with a matching two-light window on the return, both located at the first floor. Below, there are later casement windows, and in the lower part of bay three, there is a boarded door with a glazed panel set in a similar arched opening, which is sheltered by a flat lead-covered timber hood. There is an outshut at the rear of the house. The interior has not been seen.
