Detached house. Carries datestone of 1800, rear portion may be earlier. Local stone roughly cut and squared, Cary stone dressings; plain clay tile roof between stepped coped gables; brick end chimney stacks. 'L'- plan two-storeys with attics; 3 bays. Plinth, band course, toothed brick eaves course, rusticated quoins; 12-pane sash windows in architraves; to lower bay 2 a 6-panelled door under semi-circular arched fanlight radially leaded, in an Adam style, set in architrave under open pediment on console brackets. Set high in south gable a square plaque incised 'P/WE/1800'. Interior not seen, but panelled window shutters etc. noted. Rear wing may be earlier.
