Description

Cypress Cottage is an early 19th-century house located in West Pennard village. The house is constructed of Flemish bond brickwork, with a double Roman tile roof, and has a coped verge on the right side. It features two brick stacks. The symmetrical frontage has two-light casement windows with brick voussoirs (decorative arches) to the ground floor, emphasised stone keys, and a central door opening. The front door is a six-panelled door, with the top two panels glazed, sheltered by a gabled hood supported on wooden brackets. A single-storey, 20th-century lean-to has been added to the right side, and it contains a pair of plank doors.
