Description

Church Cottage is a house that likely has an 18th century core with alterations from the early to mid-19th century. It is constructed from coursed and squared lias rubble and features an M-shaped triple Roman tile roof with a crested ridge on the front span and a rubble stack on the left side. The building has a symmetrical frontage, consisting of two storeys and an attic, with three bays. The windows are three-light casements that include decorative marginal glazing bars and have rendered lintels. The central door opening contains a five-panelled door, with the top panel being glazed, and is topped by a wooden hood supported by cut stone brackets.
