Description

Pennard Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the 16th or 17th century, with alterations made in the 19th century. It is constructed from coursed and squared rubble and features a triple Roman tile roof with two brick stacks. The building has a T-plan layout and an L-shaped entrance frontage, standing two storeys high with two bays on each inner face. On the left side, there is a 20th-century casement window on the ground floor and a flush mounted 16-pane sash window on the first floor. On the right side, there are three-light casements on both floors. The door opening is located in the angle between the wings and features a plank door with a wooden lintel. Inside, the farmhouse has massive chamfered ceiling beams.
