Description

The Thatched House is a 17th-century farmhouse that has been converted into a house. It features coursed and squared rubble construction with a thatched roof, coped verges, two brick stacks, and an exposed rendered stack on the right side. The building has a cross-passage plan and stands two storeys high with four bays. The windows include two and four-light casements, with wooden lintels on the first floor and segmental heads with rubble voussoirs on the ground floor. There is a panelled door with glazed top panels and a glazed lean-to porch.
