Description

Mulberry Farmhouse is an early 19th-century farmhouse situated on the north side of Cottles Lane in West Pennard. The building is constructed of coursed and squared rubble, with the front face roughcast and scribed to resemble ashlar. It has a slate roof with coped verges, and brick stacks at the ends. An addition is present to the right, built of coursed and squared rubble with a double Roman tile roof. The original part of the farmhouse is two storeys high and comprises three bays on the left and two bays on the right. The left-hand section features 16-pane sash windows, while the right-hand section has three-light casements with glazing bars. There are two door openings: a flush door in the centre of the left-hand three bays, and a half-glazed door to the left of the right-hand two bays.
