Description
Town End Farmhouse is a farmhouse, likely built in the mid to late 17th century. It is constructed of dressed stone and has a stone slate roof. The building has two storeys and features a three-unit baffle entry plan. The windows on the ground floor are double chamfered and have hoodmoulds, with configurations of 4, 4 (with a king mullion suggesting it originally had 6 lights before a door was added) and 5 lights. The upper floor has windows with 3, 5, and 4 lights. Between the second and third bays, there is an enclosed porch that has an elliptical headed doorway set in a square chamfered surround, which is topped by a chamfered niche. The farmhouse has two chimneys. The interior has not been inspected.
