Description
Long Hill End Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from 1699. It is constructed of slobbered squared rubble and features a stone slate roof. The building is two storeys high and has a two-unit plan. Throughout the farmhouse, there are double chamfered stone mullion windows. The ground floor windows consist of six lights with a double central mullion and four lights, all with linked hoodmoulds. The upper floor windows are arranged in groups of two, four, and four lights.
At the left end of the farmhouse, there is an enclosed porch with kneelers and a chamfered doorway that has a triangular head. Above the doorway, the lintel is carved with "IS IF 1699," and there is a panel inscribed "DHV 1892." The gable features coping and kneelers, along with two chimneys. A former barn located to the right has been renovated to resemble the farmhouse but is not included in the listing.
