Description

These are two barns located 50 meters north of Lower Summer House, likely built in the 17th and 18th centuries. They are constructed from dressed stone and topped with a stone slate roof. The eastern barn features a king-post roof made of cut timbers, suggesting it may be older than the western barn, which has sawn timbers. Both barns have elliptical arched cart entries, chamfered doorways, and breather openings. They are listed for their group value only.
