Description

The Old Dairy is a former barn dating from 1675, constructed from rubble and featuring a stone slate roof. It has a queen-post roof. Near one corner, there is a finely moulded doorway with a Tudor head. The spandrels above the doorway display numerals that make up the date, along with carvings of swords, a heart, and a shield. An inscription on the lintel is now illegible. Inside, the cart entry has a spiral carving at the bottom of one jamb and a corbel that is carved in the shape of a human face.
