Description

Lower Bawes Edge Farmhouse is likely of the later 17th century, and has undergone alterations. It is constructed of rubble with a stone slate roof. The original farmhouse has been extended to the right. The left-hand end of the building retains two double-chamfered stone mullioned windows, one with three lights and the other with four. There is also a door with a deep lintel on this side. The interior has been altered. The building is listed for group value only.
