Farmhouse, now house, and attached byre/outbuilding. Early C18. Coursed sandstone with ashlar dressings, stone slate roof, artificial slate roof to byre. 2 storeys with rear outshut, 3 first-floor windows, single-storey byre attached to right. House: quoins. Central C20 part-glazed door in ashlar surround. Above, on first floor, 2-light window in ashlar surround. Other windows mullioned, double-chamfered, of 3 lights, except for 20-pane sash in double-chamfered surround on ground floor to right. Hipped roof. End stacks. Byre: stable door flanked by 6-pane windows. Rear, house: central 4-panel door in ashlar surround. Interior: house: doors of 4 fielded panels; re-used beams; C18 ashlar surround for kitchen range to left; eared architrave to parlour fireplace to right. Cow byre: 4 king-post roof trusses.
