Description
St Andrew's Cottage is a house that underwent refurbishment in the early 19th century, although it is based on an earlier structure dated 1765. It is built from sandstone rubble and features a stone slate roof. The cottage has two storeys and two first-floor windows. The openings are designed with voussoired flat arches and tall keystones. On the ground floor, to the left, there is a six-panel door, and the windows are sash types with glazing bars. To the left, there is a shaped kneeler and ashlar coping. A brick stack is located at the right end of the building. The cottage is noted for its group value.
