Description

This building is a cottage located to the west of St Andrew's Cottage in Constable Burton. It dates from the mid to late 18th century and is constructed of coursed sandstone with a stone slate roof. The cottage has two storeys and features two first-floor windows. It is characterized by quoins at the corners and openings that have ashlar lintels with herringbone tooling. The central entrance consists of a boarded door set in a surround that matches the lintel, complete with base and impost blocks. The windows are side-sliding sash types, and there is ashlar coping on the left side of the building. A brick stack is positioned at the left end.
