Description
Evergreen Farmhouse and the adjoining cart shed were built in the late 18th century and early 19th century. The farmhouse is constructed of pale reddish-brown local brick and features stepped and dentilled eaves, topped with a concrete Roman tile roof and end chimneys. It has two storeys and two bays. The central entrance has a 19th-century wooden doorcase, with the current entrance being recessed and fitted with a modern glazed door. The farmhouse has 16-pane sash windows set in flush wood architraves, with painted lintels that cut into the eaves cornice and cills. The attached cart shed has a pantile roof and dentilled eaves, with two slatted barn windows and a 19th-century 16-pane sash window facing the street. At the rear, there are three round arches.
