Description
15 Sandside is a late 18th-century building that stands three storeys high with an attic and basement, constructed of painted brick. It features a gable end roof with flat eaves on the west front and stone coping on the south gable end. The south front has one window on the upper floors without glazing bars, while the ground floor has a central glazed door flanked by windows. The main west front is symmetrical with three windows, which include altered sashes and modern casements. The central door has six fielded panels and a blind semi-circular fanlight, set within a doorcase that features fluted pilasters, a broken entablature, and an open pediment, with moulded ornamentation on the frieze. One of the first-floor windows is a rectangular stuccoed bay with a cornice and one sash window at the front. This building forms a group with No 1 East Sandgate.
