Description

Nos 11 and 12 Sandside is a building that dates from the 17th century or early 18th century and has undergone considerable alterations. It has two storeys and an attic. The ground floor has been modernized, while the first floor is stuccoed and features a gable over the right-hand section. There is one attic sash window and four early 19th century renewed glazing bar sashes on the first floor. The gable end has an old pantile roof. The rear elevation is made of painted brick and shows traces of timber framing, with altered window arrangements. A mansard attic has been added to the western half of the building. Inside, all timber is concealed and boxed in.
