Description

Nos 3 and 5 Tuthill are a pair of cottages dating from the early to mid 18th century, with a refronting that occurred in the late 18th or early 19th century. These two-storey cottages are built of red brick, with the lower storey at the rear due to the sloping site. They feature a gable end roof covered with old pantiles and a central chimney. The front has two windows, which are two-light Yorkshire casements with glazing bars, and there are plank doors at each end. At the rear, there is a two-storey brick wing that has shaped brick brackets at the eaves. All the listed buildings on the south side form a group.
