Description

This is a late 18th-century building on London Road. It is a three-storey building with a basement, constructed of red brick and featuring a stone coping and two horizontal stringcourses. The building has three original sash windows with intact glazing bars, stone heads, and cills. The ground-floor windows are set within an arcade. A doorcase on the left side has an open pediment, pilasters with panelled reveals, a rectangular fanlight, and a panelled door, reached by three stone steps with wrought iron handrails and a footscraper. The paving and cobbles in front of numbers 1 to 15, together with numbers 1 and 3 Whitstable Road, form a group of group value.
