Description

This is a pair of late 18th-century buildings located on London Road. They are three storeys high with a basement and are faced with cement, with the ground floor rusticated. The roofline features a coping and a moulded eaves cornice. Each building has two windows. The second floor has one sash window and a three-light lunette window. The first floor has one narrow sash window and a three-light bay window, topped with a modillion cornice that extends through two floors. The doorcases on either side have open pediments, plain pilasters, panelled reveals, semi-circular fanlights, and six-panelled doors. The original paving and cobbles in front of numbers 1 to 15, together with numbers 1 and 3 Whitstable Road, form a group.
