Description

10 and 11 London Road are a pair of 18th-century buildings that were later re-faced. They consist of two parallel ranges, each three storeys high with a basement. The buildings are constructed of red brick with a tiled roof. They feature four 19th-century sash windows per floor, each with buff brick heads. A string course and modillion cornice run along the top of the building. The ground floor is rusticated. Simple recessed doorcases are present. The basement grilles incorporate an anthemion motif. The paving and cobbles in front of numbers 1 to 15 (inclusive) together with numbers 1 and 3 Whitstable Road form a group of group value.
