Description

Nos 1 and 3 Whitstable Road are mid-18th century buildings that stand three storeys tall and are constructed of red brick. They feature a tiled roof with three hips. The front has three sash windows set within moulded architraves, all of which retain their glazing bars. The ground floor is distinguished by a thick weatherhood supported by brackets, and includes a semi-circular fanlight with glazing bars above a six-panelled door. There are also two blank spaces on the façade. The side elevation has additional sash windows and a stone coping, with a round window located to the left of the doorcase. These buildings form a group with Nos 1 to 15 London Road.
