13/156 Todd and Raine memorials approximately 2 metres east of porch of Church of St James

2 tombstones. Early and mid C18. For William and Mary Todd, and James Raine. Ashlar sandstone. Todd memorial to south: slab with inscription on west side commemorating William Todd, d 1727, with festoon surmounted by a crescent with patera, and on the east side inscription commemorating Mary Todd, d 1746, and other members of the family. Raine memorial to north: slab with inscription on east side commemorating John Raine, d 1764, late of Richmond, bookseller, with roll-shaped top, and matching moulding broken in centre to frame ball finial on pedestal, with 2 paterae.
