Description

This is a group of four tombstones located approximately 10 metres south of the east end of the nave of the Church of St Mary. They date from the early 18th century and are made of stone. Three of the tombstones are rectangular blocks, with well-cut inscriptions on the top surfaces of two of them. One inscription reads, "James Todd buried July 26 1715," and another states, "Margaret Dale interred September 17, 1722." The fourth stone features a shaped head and commemorates Mary Liddy.
