Description

School Farm is an early 19th-century farmhouse located on Lead Lane in Nether Silton. The building is constructed of coursed squared stone with a pantile roof. It is two storeys high and originally comprised three bays, with a front outshut on the left-hand side. A board door, set under a lintel, is located to the left of the right-hand bay. All windows are four-pane sashes, each with a stone lintel and sill. An outshut with a catslide roof is attached to the side. The farmhouse has shaped kneelers, end stacks, and a further stack to the ridge.
