Description
Manor Farmhouse and the attached stable block are a farmhouse and stable dating from the 16th or early 17th century. They are built of ashlar stone with a pantile roof. The farmhouse is two storeys high and has four bays, with a two-storey, two-bay stable block to the right.
The main house features double-chamfered windows throughout. The central entrance is a board door set in a chamfered surround with a four-centred-arched lintel, flanked by four-light mullioned windows. To the far right, there is a blocked single-light fire window. On the first floor, there is a moulded band, a central two-light window, and three-light windows on either side, with another single-light fire window to the far right. The roof has shaped kneelers, stone coping, and end stacks.
The stable block has a board stable door to the left, also under a four-centred-arched lintel that breaks into the first-floor band. To the right, there is a three-light mullioned window and a blocked single-light window. The first floor has a moulded band and one blocked three-light mullioned window, with a shaped kneeler and stone coping to the right.
At the rear, the house has similar features, including a one-bay full-height projecting gabled bay to the left with a single-light window on each floor, and three two-light windows to the right on both floors. The stable is a single storey under a catslide roof with a two-light window.
