Description

Holly Tree Cottage is an early 18th-century house in Over Silton, originally two bays wide. It is constructed of ashlar and has a modern pantile roof. The ground floor of the left bay is now incorporated into the adjacent Manor Cottage. The front elevation has a half-glazed door with a stone lintel on the left side; to its right is a 12-pane casement window, and a small 2-pane window to the far right. On the first floor are a 3-light 6-pane side-sliding sash window to the left, and a 12-pane casement window to the right. The roof features shaped kneelers and stone coping, with a ridge stack and an end stack located on the right side.
