Description

This is a mile-post located approximately 50 metres to the south of Blazefield, dating from the mid 19th century. It is made of cast iron and features a triangular section pillar with a sloping top. The front of the pillar is inscribed with "Skipton 16", while the left face reads "Pateley 1" and the right face "Ripon 10".
