Description

The wall and railings adjoining The Rectory were built in 1768. The wall is made of magnesian limestone ashlar and stands approximately 2½ metres high and 6 metres long. It is topped with ball finials. The cast-iron railings are about one metre high, featuring pointed bars, with every thirty-sixth bar having a vase-shaped base. Dogbars are included between the railings. This structure is included for its group value.
