Description
The boundary wall to the Old Rectory is a Grade II listed structure, built around the 19th century. It runs approximately 426 meters in a north, south, east, and west direction. The wall is primarily constructed of brick with a rubble plinth, but there is a 140-meter section to the east of the house that features a stone plinth, a chamfered brick course above, and back panels, standing about 3 meters high. To the south, the wall is lower and features 20th-century railings. The wall includes tall corner piers that are topped with stone urns. At the north-west corner, there is a garden doorway made of rubbed brick, which is adorned with a triangular pediment.
