Description

This boundary stone, dating from 1725, is located 0.6 metres east of a milestone opposite the junction with Croft Lane on the south side of Newton Kyme cum Wetherby Road in Toulston. It is made of magnesian limestone ashlar and has an oblong shape, standing approximately one metre high. The face of the stone is inscribed with the text: 'Here - / The - / B1 - y of / Newton Kyme / Cum Toldston / (sic) 1725.
