Description
The garden seat located in the grounds of Gilling Castle, approximately 50 metres south-west of the house, dates from the early to mid-18th century. It is made of limestone and has a C-shaped plan. The bench is supported by clawed feet and features a scrolled back and arms. This seat is included for its group value within the context of the castle.
