Description
The garden seat is located at the end of the raised south cross terrace in the southern garden of Clarendon House. It was likely built in the late 19th century, designed in a heavy 18th-century style, and was placed in its current position around 1920. The seat is made of limestone and sits on a rendered brick podium. It features a Kentian style, with a curved shape and scrolled ends on the low panelled back. The front of the seat is also panelled, and it is raised over four steps, standing at the end of the south terrace.
