Description

This is an 18th-century building, or possibly earlier, constructed of coursed stone and repointed. It has a pantile roof with two brick stacks. The front has three windows, now fitted with modern casements. The ground floor features a single window with three lights, beneath a rendered lintel, and a small, plain shop front on the left side. A modern door, also with a rendered lintel, is positioned on the right. A plinth runs along the base of the building, and a full-height carriage entry is on the right-hand side. It forms a group with numbers 1 to 15, and 17 to 21, including numbers 3A, 6A, 12A and 12B, Burgate, and numbers 30 to 40, of which numbers 4 and 5, 12A to 14, 17, 18 and 37 to 39 are of local interest.
