Description
32 Burgate is an 18th-century building that stands two storeys tall, constructed from coursed stone with rusticated quoins and a stone plinth. It features a moulded cornice and blocking course, topped with a slate roof. The façade includes three windows on the upper floor, which are hung sashes with glazing bars set in stone surrounds with rusticated keystones. The ground floor has two similar windows. The entrance is marked by a doorway flanked by plain pilasters and topped with a moulded cornice supported by brackets. The door consists of six fielded panels and is situated beneath a rectangular fanlight, with one step leading up to it. This building is part of a group that includes Nos 1 to 15 and 17 to 21, along with Nos 30 to 40, of which some have local interest.
