Description
This is a barn dating from the late 17th century, with some alterations made in the 19th century. It is constructed of squared rubble with stone dressings and has a slate roof. The barn consists of three bays. The right of the center features a chamfered waggon entrance with a basket arched head. The entrances on the left and right sides have chamfered surrounds. There is a late 19th-century hayloft entrance with brick jambs. Blocked breathers are present, and a panel above the waggon entrance is now missing. This barn is included for its group value with the adjoining Field Gate Farmhouse.
