Description
The stable and barns located to the west of Far Rome Farmhouse are 17th and 18th century structures with 20th century alterations. They are built from slobbered squared rubble with stone dressings and feature a slate roof. The stables have a chamfered surround at the entrance, which is inscribed with "1 A 170 (?)". There are external steps leading to the hayloft. The complex includes three barns, which are divided into four sections. Among the three waggon entrances, one has a chamfered surround and a datestone inscribed with "1715 A 1 A". These buildings are included for their group value with the farmhouse.
