Description

Bottom Barn is a barn dating from the 17th and 18th centuries. The exterior is primarily constructed of coursed stone rubble with ashlar quoins, while the right side elevation features some 17th-century brickwork in random bond and brick on the interior. The roof is currently covered with asbestos sheeting. There is a central cart entrance with a projecting penticed entry to one side, and brick ventilation slits are present. The barn consists of three bays and has an angled queen strut roof, which has been re-raftered.
