Description

This building is a barn and stable with a loft above, dating from the later 18th century. It is constructed of coursed herringbone-tooled sandstone and has a pantiled roof. The structure is two storeys high and consists of three bays. The central bay projects and features a pediment with a keyed elliptical cart arch. In the left bay, there is a boarded door with a slatted overlight, and above it, a boarded loading door. The right bay contains a stable door with a glazed overlight, with a similar door above and another in the centre. All openings are adorned with tall keystones. The pediment is coped and has a band across it, and the roof is hipped.
