Description

Church Cottage is a house, forming the southern end of an irregular row of buildings, dating from the mid to late 18th century. It is constructed of coursed, herringbone-tooled sandstone with a pantiled roof featuring a stone ridge, copings, kneelers, and stacks. The house is two storeys high and has two bays. A central six-panel door is topped by a small-paned overlight. Sixteen-pane sashes flank the door and are set beneath two-light Yorkshire sashes, all with cills. A coping, chimney, and block kneeler are present on the left-hand side, with a shared stack on the right.
